GENERAL ORDERING INFORMATION
DELIVERY
Waistcoat and Neckwear orders
Most Waistcoats and Neckwear are individually made to order and, unless an Express order is requested (see next paragraph), will usually be dispatched within 2-3 weeks. Where time limits allow, it is our policy to send fabric swatches of waistcoats and neckwear ordered, to give you the opportunity to see and approve the actual colour, prior to manufacture of the goods.
Express orders
Waistcoats and Neckwear can usually be made and dispatched, as quickly as is necessary, often within 24 hours (weekdays & subject to fabric availability). There is no extra charge for this service, although shipping charges may be affected. Please notify us of your required by/function date at checkout and we will contact you as soon as possible, to confirm the dispatch date.
Accessories, gifts and shirts
We aim to dispatch all accessory, gift and shirt orders within a maximum of 2 working days, (including engraved gifts). If any items are not in stock or there will be any delay, we will inform you as soon as possible.
What if it doesn’t fit?
Our aim is to supply the waistcoat and/or shirt that fits and we try to get it
right, first time. When ordering, please give as much sizing information as
possible. Your actual chest & waist measurements in inches is ideal, as
well as your height, or, nape to waist measurements.
If you find that the fit is not right, tell us what the problem is as soon as
you can and we’ll discuss the options with you.
AVAILABILITY
Availability
All items are offered subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as
possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order Upon placing an
order you will receive an automated email setting out the details of the order
and allocating an order number. We will email you again, as soon as possible,
to confirm acceptance of the order, availability and the expected dispatch
date.
CARRIAGE
Carriage charges to addresses within the United Kingdom
There is a carriage charge of £1.95 for all non-urgent UK orders.
Carriage charges to addresses outside the United Kingdom
There is a delivery charge of £10 for all non-UK orders. Please note that any
import taxes or local charges levied on importation of the goods will be the
sole responsibility of the buyer.
PAYMENT
When an order is placed by you online, your credit/debit
card is debited to the full value of the order.
VAT
There will be no VAT payable on goods ordered from and delivered to an address
outside the U.K. and E.U.
RETURNS POLICY
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your
order within seven working days of receipt of the goods, with the exception of
items individually made to order. This exception specifically includes
waistcoats made to measurements, neckwear made to order and engraved goods,
unless the items supplied by us differ from those ordered. The goods must be
returned unused, unworn and undamaged.
Tom Sawyer Waistcoats also offers the following guarantee: - Should the
style, size or fabric of your waistcoat or neckwear differ in any way from that
ordered, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund simply by returning
the item(s) to us within 7 days.
Please use Recorded Delivery mail to return items (or Special Delivery for goods
valued over £30.00 - U.K. only) . Please remember to include details of your
name, address and the reason for return. On receipt of the goods, with their
original packaging, a full refund will be made, less the full cost of carriage,
incurred by us, in sending them to you.

QUANTITY DISCOUNTS
Any discounts available are detailed with the relevant items and are calculated
and applied automatically when you place qualifying products into the shopping
basket.

whenever possible. We always endeavour to offer a high level of service to our
customers and if a problem should occur we welcome the opportunity to rectify

products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if
there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as
advertised on this website. All items are subject to availability. We will
inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available
or we are unable to supply within any time scales given. The weights,
dimensions and capacities given are as accurate as we have been able to
ascertain. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the
colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual
colours you see will depend on your monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that
your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the
product on delivery. Where time limits allow, it is our policy to send fabric
swatches of waistcoats and neckwear ordered to give you the opportunity to see
and approve the actual colour prior to manufacture of the goods.
Delays
On rare occasions, for reasons beyond our control, there may be a
delay in dispatching your goods beyond the confirmed dispatch date. We will,
wherever possible, keep you informed should this happen.. Our liability for
delays, errors and omissions, in this instance, is limited to the value of the
goods only and not for any consequential loss.
Any delivery delays caused by carriers, customs/import regulations,
industrial action or any other reason, are beyond our control.
Cancellation right
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to
cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods (with the
exception of items specifically made to order). Goods must be returned unused,
unworn and undamaged.
Restrictions on purchase

order you confirm that you are over the age of 16.
Exclusions of liability
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with English Law. If any provisions of these terms and conditions
shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision
shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability
of the remaining provisions.
Use of this website from outside the UK
Those who access this site from locations outside the United Kingdom
are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws
are applicable.
Law, jurisdiction and language
This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought
into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed
in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to
submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All
